Outreach
The Career Outreach Foundation supports CREW's goals of 1) advancing the careers of women in Commercial Real Estate and 2) supporting fellow CREW members in need. Through a budget provided by CREW GC and independent fundraising, and collaboration with CREW Network, university, public sector, Commercial Real Estate Industry partners, the Foundation reaches out to students, and experienced and emerging commercial real estate professionals to enhance cross generational networking and mentoring. In 2012, the Foundation efforts will focus on 1) UCREWenhancing opportunities in Commercial Real Estate for female university students through scholarships, internships, information, skills development, and networking, 2) CREW Mentor-promoting career development of CREW members by linking emerging and experienced members in a one year Mentoring program. Future efforts may include hands-on programs for younger girls and a Midwest regional supplement to CREW Network's research on salaries/career advancement for women in commercial real estate.
