Champlin/Haupt Architects Inc. has distinguished itself
in the last five years in a niche health-care market
designing cancer treatment facilities for hospitals and
clinics throughout the area. Projects include The Christ
Hospital and Clinton Memorial Hospital, centers for St.
Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, Mercy Hospital in

Reece Campbell became the first business to relocate to
the new Hamilton County Regional Business Park in
Lockland earlier this summer. The business park is
located on the site of the former Celotex Plant on South
Anthony Wayne Avenue in Lockland. The site is currently
undergoing cleanup and redevelopment with the help of a
$2.88 million Clean Ohio Grant awarded with the
assistance of the Village of Lockland and the Port of
Greater Cincinnati Development Authority. Reece-Campbell
purchased the only building that was not demolished as
part of the site cleanup and redevelopment project.
The move will bring 75 jobs to the area and marks the
end of Lockland’s 20-year job-loss trend brought on by
the closing of several large manufacturing facilities,
including Celotex, American Tissue, Jefferson Smurfit
and Stearns & Foster. Upon the project’s completion, the
Hamilton County Regional Business Park will offer more
than 230,000 square feet of industrial, warehouse,
office, commercial and retail space, and may bring as
many as 250 jobs to Lockland. For more information,
